About us

The West Bromwich Emergency Pet Pantry is a group of

volunteers dedicated to providing pet food to individuals

and families who are experiencing financial hardship.

We believe that pets are important members of the family, and no pet should go hungry or be seperated from their owners due to financial difficulties.

Through our network of volunteers and pet food donations, we aim to ensure that pets and their owners can stay together during tough times.

PLEASE NOTE

We currently only accept referrals for people living within the West Bromwich area. If you live outside of West Bromwich unfortunately we cannot help at this time but feel free to contact us and we may be able to signpost you to another organisation.

WHO WE ARE

Louise (chair)

Louise came up with the idea of The Pet Pantry after working for a

local charity and noticing the amount of pet food poverty in the area. She also owns two dogs of her own and a Cockatiel.

Helen (treasurer)

Helen came on board as treasurer because she loves all animals especially dogs and wanted to help make sure pets and owners stay together instead of ending up in overcrowded rescues

kelly (secretary)

Kelly is a big animal lover and was looking for volunteering opportunities locally. She now deals with day to day paperwork and helps with delivering to pets in need

Our Emergency Pet Pantry will help people living in West Bromwich who are in financial hardship by donating a supply of pet food which can help prevent cats and dogs from being rehomed.

Our goal is to help struggling families keep their pets fed so they won't have to consider surrendering their animals due to lack of food. No owner should have to pick between feeding themselves or their pets.

Our pet pantry will serve families in West Bromwich on a referral basis. Pet owners wishing to participate will need to provide personal contact information, as well as the number and size of pets in the household.

We have connections with local charities and organisations within the local area. Please ask if you need any extra support with your pet. We may be able to advise and signpost you for extra help.
